Handling of personal information

Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co., Ltd.'s Thin Film Materials Division (hereinafter referred to as "this division") will comply with the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations regarding personal information such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address (hereinafter referred to as "personal information"), and will establish and implement a personal information protection policy and other internal regulations, with all employees working to protect personal information.

When our division acquires personal information, we will clearly state the purpose of use and obtain the customer's consent.

Our division will use personal information for the following purposes. Any other uses will be subject to prior consent from the customer.

• Use of information necessary for carrying out the business of this division
• Responding to customer inquiries
• Notification of information from our division to customers

In the course of carrying out our business, we will not disclose, transfer, or lend your personal information to any third party.
However, this does not apply in the following cases.

• When there is consent from the customer
• Business that has concluded a confidentiality agreement with the division when necessary for the performance of the division's business
• When disclosing to a contractor or partner company
• When disclosure is required by law, etc.
